Angelo A. Gurrieri of 15 Saw Mill Hill Road, owner of a Ridgefield property management company, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, in Elmsford, N.Y., as the result of an auto accident. He was 44 years and husband of Maureen
Tighe.
A native of Hackensack, N.J., he was born on April 17, 1957, the son of the late Frank and Millie Mauro Gurrieri, and grew up in Westwood, N.J. He graduated with a
bachelor's degree in English from Lafayette University and did graduate work at Columbia
University.
Mr. Gurrieri had owned Westwood Management Company for 15 years. The family moved from Washington Township, N.J., to Ridgefield five years ago.
He was a golfer and frequently played Dlhy Ridge golf course. He was also an avid competitive ballroom dancer, and was a published poet.
"He was very dedicated to his two daughters," Mrs. Gurrieri said.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Zoe Q. Gurrieri and Mia G. Gurrieri, both of Ridgefield.
The Rev. John R. Gilchrist, rector, will conduct services Wednesday, Jan. 2, at St.
Stephen's Episcopal Church at a time to be announced.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends directly after the service at St. Stephen's North Hall.
